Mikel Arteta mocked for new position as supporters voice their opinions on the Arsenal manager.
Arsenal are preparing for another push at the Premier League crown under Mikel Arteta, though the manager has also accepted a new role outside of his football duties.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has accepted a new role with sportswear giant Under Armour just days before the Premier League season kicks off. Appointed as brand ambassador and director of performance, Arteta will help shape the company’s football strategy, a move he says aligns with his passion for developing young talent. While Under Armour hailed the partnership as a meeting of shared values, some Arsenal fans joked that their boss should be focusing on transfers and silverware instead of “side quests.” On the field, Arsenal face Manchester United in Sunday’s opener after a 3-0 pre-season win over Athletic Club, with £64m signing Viktor Gyokeres on the scoresheet. The Gunners have already added several new faces this summer and could still land Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze before the window closes, while Fabio Vieira is tipped for a move to Stuttgart.
