Liverpool has been quite active in the transfer market this summer, and it seems that another Premier League player is interested in a move to Anfield soon.
Brighton defender Igor Julio has revealed his ambition to join Liverpool while also urging his teammate Joao Pedro to consider a transfer there. Since moving to Brighton from Fiorentina in 2023, Julio has made 49 appearances over two seasons. Despite limited playing time, he expressed that playing for Liverpool has always been his dream.
In an interview, Julio noted that Pedro has been looking to leave Brighton for new challenges and deserves a chance to play for a bigger club after five years in England without that opportunity. He mentioned that Pedro is interested in living in London, which might influence his decision.
Julio, who has two years left on his contract after his £14 million move, could attract interest from various clubs. However, it appears unlikely that Liverpool is currently pursuing him, given their solid lineup of center-backs. Instead, Liverpool seems focused on securing deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
