Arsenal are eyeing further transfer activity before the summer window closes, despite already adding six new faces to the squad and spending nearly £200million. With the Premier League season fast approaching, there’s still a push for late moves.

After a 3-0 win over Athletic Club, Mikel Arteta addressed the media about the club’s market plans. While he avoided promising new signings, he admitted the team remains alert to opportunities, adding that some players may still leave and the club will stay open to possibilities.

Potential departures could be key to any last-minute reinforcement, especially as Tottenham intensify their chase for Eberechi Eze. Leandro Trossard’s situation is particularly pivotal — although he has a contract offer on the table, it remains unsigned, increasing the likelihood of an exit. Should Trossard depart, Arsenal would face significant pressure to bring in a replacement.

While Eze is not the only option, other targets like Rodrygo and Anthony Gordon would command huge fees, making them less likely. This leaves open the possibility that Arsenal’s final summer signing could be an unexpected name not yet linked in credible reports.
