Mikel Arteta is speaking to the media ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
The Gunners return from the international break in positive spirits, with most players performing well for their countries and avoiding injury. Mikel Merino netted four times in two games, Noni Madueke grabbed his first England goal, while Piero Hincapie collected two clean sheets including a win over Argentina.
There are still concerns, though, with Bukayo Saka and William Saliba absent from Thursday’s open training session. On the bright side, Ben White and Christian Norgaard were back with the group. Arteta is expected to give updates on their fitness and the availability of others.
