Berbatov predicts the outcome of Chelsea vs Brentford

Dimitar Berbatov has offered his prediction of the outcome of Chelsea’s Premier League match with Brentford on Saturday.

The Blues will play their London rivals with hopes of getting back to winning ways, following last Saturday’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Arsenal at home.

Brentford won this fixture 2-0 last season, with Chelsea ultimately finishing in 12th, but former Manchester United striker, Berbatov believes Mauricio Pochettino’s men have more than enough to nick this one.

“I will go for Chelsea,” the pundit said via Metro.

“They need to find their consistency. They pick up speed and when you’re winning 2-0 against Arsenal, that is when you need to be more solid and know how to protect that lead because Arsenal have the quality to hurt you.

“Against Brentford, they cannot afford to do something like this again. They have enough quality to win the game.”

Berbatov predicted a 1-0 scoreline for Chelsea.
