Bruno Fernandes has responded to Scott McTominay’s impressive performances at Napoli following his departure from Manchester United.
Fernandes took to Instagram to share his thoughts on McTominay’s transfer, which saw the Red Devils sell the Scottish midfielder to Napoli for £25.4 million in the summer— a decision that caught many by surprise.
Since joining Antonio Conte’s side, McTominay has made a significant impact, scoring two goals in five games for the Serie A leaders. Italian media have even dubbed him Conte’s ‘Jolly’, likening him to a wildcard that can turn a losing hand into a winning one.
Fernandes, clearly impressed by McTominay’s strong form, recently showcased the Napoli shirt gifted to him by his former teammate after their international encounter between Portugal and Scotland, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
