Chelsea fans united in their opinion on Malo Gusto’s performance against Crystal Palace
Chelsea defender Malo Gusto had a very busy night in yesterday’s 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.
A selection of Blues fans on social media agreed that he was the team’s outstanding performer at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea collected a much-needed victory at home to London rivals Palace in the Premier League, with Noni Madueke’s 89th minute penalty separating the teams.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will now look to finish 2023 on a positive note when they travel to Luton Town on the weekend.
Malo Gusto against Crystal Palace
Malo Gusto was in the thick of the action during Wednesday night’s success over Palace.
The 20-year-old right-back delivered an all-action performance this week, showing his qualities both offensively and defensively.
He even showed his versatility to shift across to left-back during the second-half after substitutions.
We know there’s a massive void to fill in West London whenever club captain Reece James is absent through injury, but Gusto is showing he’s got the quality to plug the hole.
Speaking via Amazon Prime’s live coverage yesterday, Lee Dixon said on co-commentary that Gusto was having “a stormer” against Palace.
We’re confident that the best is yet to come from the French youngster!
