Chelsea monitoring another promising young talent

Another young rising star has been linked with Chelsea this morning, and it seems like every day we see a new link to another young player.

According to 90min, Chelsea are keeping tabs on 15-year-old starlet Francesco Camarda from AC Milan, as are many of Europe’s elite sides.

Milan have allegedly promised Camarda a huge role in their future, but as he is ineligible to sign a professional contract until his 16th birthday in March, they risk losing him until then.

It’s all well and good targeting all these teenagers, but Chelsea should probably be focusing for the here and now first and foremost as they continue to really struggle in the league. They lack maturity in a young team and whilst we all know it needs time to grow and develop, they also need to be progressing in the league and right now, they are not. It’s that simple.
