Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, already grappling with a depleted squad this season, faces another selection headache with Solanke ruled out due to a muscular injury. According to the Daily Mail, the forward is expected to miss Sunday’s Premier League clash at Goodison Park, with fears he could be out for an extended period.

Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe also confirmed the news on X, stating, “One normal day is all I ask. Dom Solanke injured – timescale to be confirmed. Knee injury of some description.”

Solanke, who joined Spurs this summer after a stellar campaign at Bournemouth, had played every match of the Cherries’ 38-game Premier League season last year. His absence will force Postecoglou to rethink his attacking options, possibly turning to Heung-min Son as a central striker or starting Richarlison against his former club, despite the Brazilian’s lack of full fitness.

With Tottenham’s injury crisis showing no signs of easing, the setbacks could have a significant impact on their season and Postecoglou’s tenure.
