Solanke Reflects on the Brighton Defeat
Solanke acknowledged that the Spurs needed to stay focused and maintain intensity during the London derby, especially after becoming “complacent” in the second half against Brighton.
In an interview with The Independent, he emphasized the importance of bouncing back: “It was crucial. Before the Brighton match, we were in good form. We started well in that game but perhaps got a bit complacent, so it was vital we responded and showed we learned from it.”
He added, “Talking to a couple of the boys afterward, we need to play like this as consistently as possible because we know we’re capable. In the last game, we demonstrated that we could perform well in one half but not the other, and we need to find that consistency.”
Solanke Satisfied with His Contribution
