A full-back revamp at Liverpool?
With Trent Alexander-Arnold expected to depart when his contract expires this summer, Frimpong is nearing a move to fill the right-back role. Manager Arne Slot could now be planning further changes, seeing Kerkez as the long-term successor to the ageing Andy Robertson.
Although replacing players of Alexander-Arnold’s and Robertson’s calibre won’t be simple, signing Frimpong and Kerkez could be a smart way to reinforce the flanks and maintain Liverpool’s competitiveness.
