FINALLY – Chelsea move to sign £130million striker this week with bid on the table

According to Sky Sport Italia via Evening Standard, Chelsea are set to submit a bid for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen despite closing in on deal to sign Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.

“Napoli are set to demand around £130m for Osimhen but Sky Sport Italia claim Chelsea are not scared off by that price tag and will call Napoli this week to get a clearer idea of the situation.

“Osimhen’s agent has met Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis to discuss his future and to set the asking price that would make the Serie A champions consider an offer.

“Chelsea are closing in on a £30m deal to sign Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal but a move for Osimhen would be one of the biggest transfer deals of the summer.

“Tottenham are said to be a new contender for Osimhen amid uncertainty over the future of Harry Kane

“Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old.”
