Carlos Mac Allister has once again made it clear that his son, Alexis Mac Allister, is fully committed to Liverpool, brushing off recent rumors of a potential move to Spain.

In a recent interview with Argentine outlet Picado TV, Carlos highlighted how well Alexis has settled in since his transfer from Brighton nearly two years ago. He emphasized that the midfielder is happy both on and off the pitch and has adjusted comfortably to life in Liverpool.

Despite that, Spanish media continue to suggest that Real Madrid are eyeing a move for the 2022 World Cup winner, even floating the idea of including Arda Güler in a possible swap deal—following his on-field clash with Dominik Szoboszlai during the international break.

Addressing the rumors, Carlos told Egyptian journalist Ismael Mahmoud—who has previously shared accurate updates on Mo Salah’s contract—that Alexis is fully focused on his current club. “There’s really nothing to say. Alexis is enjoying his time at Liverpool and is aiming to win the Premier League before taking the summer break he missed last year,” he said.

He also stressed the importance of respecting the club and declined to add any fuel to the transfer speculation, pointing out that Alexis is under contract until 2028 and is happy with his current situation.

The message from Carlos Mac Allister is loud and clear: Alexis has no intention of leaving Liverpool. The reports linking him to Real Madrid appear to be unfounded, and with the midfielder playing a key role in Liverpool’s title push and preparing for the next chapter of his personal life with partner Ailen Cova, there’s little reason for him to seek a move. Simply put, Alexis isn’t going anywhere, and Real Madrid will have to look elsewhere for reinforcements this summer.
