Frank may have found a “Harry Kane successor” who could bring Richarlison’s Tottenham career to an end.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been fortunate to witness countless attacking talents over the years, many of whom have created memories to last a lifetime.

Although he never won silverware in North London, Harry Kane will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the greatest players to ever wear the Lilywhite shirt. During his decade in the first team, the 32-year-old striker scored an incredible 280 goals, consistently delivering when it mattered most. His remarkable tally saw him surpass Jimmy Greaves to become Tottenham’s all-time leading scorer in both league and all competitions.

However, his departure in 2023 left a significant void in attack, with manager Thomas Frank still searching for a suitable successor in the early months of his tenure.

With Dominic Solanke struggling with injury problems early in the 2025/26 campaign, Frank has turned to Richarlison to lead the line. The Brazilian forward appeared close to joining Galatasaray during the summer transfer window, but the arrival of Frank gave him a new sense of purpose at the club. He began the season brightly, scoring twice on the opening day against Burnley and adding another goal against Brighton & Hove Albion.

In recent weeks, however, Richarlison’s form has dipped, failing to find the net in his last four appearances. This has sparked criticism from fans questioning his long-term future at the club. Despite that, Frank has publicly backed the 28-year-old, praising his contributions since taking charge.

“Right now he’s my starting nine, he’s scored some fantastic goals,” the Danish manager said recently. “He is a very good player, and I’m very happy with him.”
