Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has responded to speculation linking him with a sensational return to England to join Liverpool.
After spending over a decade in the Premier League and cementing his status as one of England’s all-time top scorers, Kane made a surprise move to Bayern Munich. The 31-year-old has continued his prolific form, scoring 36 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances. However, rumors of a return to England have persisted, with recent reports suggesting Liverpool were considering a move for him this summer. According to El Nacional, sources close to Kane claimed he was “seriously considering” finishing his career back in the Premier League.
Liverpool were rumored to be leading the race as they looked for reinforcements to replace struggling forwards Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota. However, Kane has since addressed the speculation, reassuring Bayern fans that he is focused on his current club.
When asked about a return to England, Kane told ESPN: “I’m not sure. Throughout my career, I’ve never been one to think too far ahead. I’m really happy here. We have an amazing team and coaching staff, and as long as I feel at my best, I want to play at the highest level—this is as high as it gets.”
He acknowledged that football is unpredictable but made it clear that his attention remains on Bayern Munich: “Things can change quickly in football, but right now, my focus is here. I’m not thinking about other leagues or teams. I just go with the flow, and right now, that flow is with Bayern Munich.”
Bayern Munich remain on course to retain the Bundesliga title, sitting six points clear at the top with seven games to go. They have also progressed to the Champions League quarterfinals, where they will face Inter Milan after a dominant 5-0 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen.
