Jadon Sancho was recently asked about a potential return to Manchester United after his loan spell at Chelsea.
The winger’s reaction to being asked if he would go back to United has surfaced online. Sancho had rejoined United in the summer after a loan at Borussia Dortmund, appearing to reconcile with Erik ten Hag following a major fallout. He participated in pre-season and even played in the Community Shield, although he missed a penalty against Manchester City at Wembley.
Despite Ten Hag expressing his satisfaction with Sancho, the winger signed a loan deal with Chelsea on transfer deadline day, which includes an obligation for the Blues to buy him. Sancho impressed on his Chelsea debut, being named Man of the Match against Bournemouth, and has recorded three assists in five matches. Maresca, who is familiar with Sancho’s talent, has spoken about the winger’s need for emotional support to perform at his best. “I have the feeling that Jadon is a guy that needs to feel love,” Maresca said in September. “For me, he has to just enjoy football, and when he does, he will do great things.”
