Manchester United fans have responded to Enzo Maresca’s recent comments about Jadon Sancho.
They believe “this is just the beginning” after hearing what Chelsea’s head coach said about Sancho in his latest press conference.
Sancho joined Chelsea on a season-long loan during the summer, with an obligation for the club to make the deal permanent. Since his move from Old Trafford, where he had issues with Erik ten Hag, he’s made five appearances for his new team.
Chelsea, who drew 1-1 with Manchester United in their last match, will be back on the field Thursday in their Europa League game against Armenian side Noah. However, Maresca won’t be able to rely on Sancho, who remains unavailable.
The Italian manager is hopeful that Sancho will be fit for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal, or if not, after the international break.
“Jadon is recovering from illness, but he also had a knock in training,” Maresca said in his pre-match press conference. “He’s out tomorrow, but we’ll see if he’s available for Sunday’s game. Otherwise, it will be after the international break.”
Once Maresca gave the update, United fans quickly reacted online, with some suggesting that “this is just the beginning” of Sancho’s struggles.
