He said: “Barça have done nothing wrong and have never benefited from anyone to win anything. We have never done anything wrong to win a title or a match. Barça will defend themselves and the club’s honour at all times through the president and the board of directors — up until the last consequences.”

Furthermore, Masip commented that “Barça have more than 120 years of history and have won trophies with the quality of our players, we are a model club in everything, not only in football. I have not needed anyone’s help. We are innocent and we do not fear any sanctions.”

Masip went on to explain that “they are all here, as the president has said” after Real Madrid joined the complaint. And he also added that “now it’s good to beat Barça because we are leading.” On Laporta, he said that “the president is strong”.
