In just four weeks, Liverpool is set to host one of the largest public celebrations the country has seen in recent years.
On Sunday, Liverpool FC clinched their 20th top-flight title with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. Staff wasted no time in updating the Champions Wall outside the stadium to commemorate the club’s record-equalling feat.
The area around Anfield erupted in celebrations that carried on late into the night, and supporters will soon have another chance to revel in the Reds’ success.
Liverpool announce parade plans On Monday afternoon, Liverpool FC revealed plans for a victory parade scheduled for Monday, 26 May, via their official website, in honour of their Premier League triumph.
The parade will take place the day after Liverpool’s final game of the season against Crystal Palace at Anfield, after which the Premier League trophy will be officially presented. It is set to begin at 2:30pm BST and is expected to last between three and five hours, although timings may vary.
Following the same route as the 2019 and 2022 celebrations, the 15-kilometre parade will kick off at Allerton Maze, head north along Queens Drive to the Fiveways roundabout, continue onto the Rocket flyover, and proceed via Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, and The Strand before concluding at Blundell Street.
