“Liverpool Now Favourites to Sign 33 G/A Star Ahead of Chelsea in Big-Money Move”

Liverpool Reportedly Leading Chelsea in Race for Red-Hot Striker Hugo Ekitike
Liverpool are currently favourites to sign one of Europe’s most in-form forwards this summer, ahead of rivals Chelsea.
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike is attracting serious interest following a stellar season in which he racked up 22 goals and 11 assists across all competitions. The Frenchman, expected to command a high fee, is now seen as more likely to join Liverpool than Chelsea.
While Chelsea are also exploring other attacking options such as Liam Delap, Ekitike is emerging as a top target for both clubs. Despite a difficult spell at Paris Saint-Germain, the 21-year-old has rediscovered his form in the Bundesliga, putting himself back on the radar of Europe’s elite.
Ekitike looks like a perfect fit for both Liverpool and Chelsea. For the Reds, he could provide a sharper cutting edge through the middle—potentially an upgrade on Darwin Nunez—while Chelsea may see him as a more reliable alternative to Nicolas Jackson.
Should Liverpool secure Ekitike’s signature, it would mark a strong start to their summer business. Reports suggest that Jeremie Frimpong is set to arrive as a replacement for the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Milos Kerkez also in line to strengthen the full-back positions.
Combined with the possible addition of Ekitike, Liverpool could be gearing up for a transformative transfer window.
