Harvey Elliott could be on his way out of Liverpool this summer after falling out of favor with manager Arne Slot. The club has reportedly set an asking price for the midfielder as he considers his future at Anfield.

With Liverpool’s successful 2024/25 Premier League title campaign now behind them, the focus has shifted to the upcoming transfer window. As it opens on June 1, the club is expected to target several high-profile players, including Alexander Isak and Milos Kerkez, while some departures are also anticipated.

Elliott’s future at the club looks uncertain, especially after he has started just one Premier League match under Slot. This lack of playing time has led him to contemplate leaving the club. If he does move on, several clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers, are reportedly interested in him, particularly if they need to replace Mattheus Cunha, who may be sold to Manchester United.

Slot seems open to Elliott’s departure, with reports indicating that Liverpool would consider offers exceeding £40 million for the 22-year-old. This season, Elliott has made 25 appearances for Liverpool, though only five were starts, with the rest coming from the bench.

Former Spurs and Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood recently suggested that Elliott should seek a move if he isn’t getting regular game time. Sherwood commented in March: “Players like Harvey Elliott, who are talented but not playing regularly, won’t be content sitting on the bench. He won’t just accept being a substitute—he’ll want to leave if he’s not given more chances to play regularly.”
