Liverpool star Alisson acknowledges Arsenal but overlooks Jamie Carragher following his standout performance against PSG.

Jamie Carragher walked off a live CBS broadcast after Alisson admitted he preferred Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

The Liverpool goalkeeper had just delivered a stellar performance, making nine crucial saves in a narrow 1-0 Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.

Following the match, Alisson was interviewed by CBS, where the conversation soon took a lighthearted turn. Micah Richards asked if he had seen their show and then inquired—using some Portuguese—who his favorite pundit was. Alisson responded, “Nice Portuguese, by the way. I think I would have to say Thierry, legend. When I was growing up, I watched a lot of Arsenal in the early 2000s when he was playing. It was the only team on TV in Brazil.”

His response sparked playful outrage from Richards and Carragher, who jokingly walked off the set as Alisson continued praising Henry. Richards was heard saying, “I’ve had enough of this.”

Carragher’s mock frustration came after he had called Liverpool’s win in Paris “one of the biggest robberies in football.” However, he also suggested that Alisson’s heroics could provide the foundation for Liverpool to go on and win the competition.
