Man Utd set surprise ‘asking price’ for Rasmus Hojlund as stunning swap deal possibility emerges

Rasmus Højlund could be involved in a surprising swap deal as Manchester United set their asking price.

Manchester United have reportedly named their price for Rasmus Højlund amid rising speculation about a potential summer exit, with a shock swap deal now on the table.

Despite arriving at Old Trafford in a £72 million move last summer, Højlund has struggled to make a consistent impact, scoring just eight goals in all competitions — only three of those in the Premier League.

His underwhelming performances have drawn criticism from fans and pundits, fueling rumors that he could be part of a major squad overhaul led by incoming manager Ruben Amorim, who is expected to offload up to 10 players.

Among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old is Napoli, who are keen on bringing him back to Serie A after his stint with Atalanta. Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest United would demand around £50 million to let Højlund go.

Napoli are said to be optimistic about their chances of landing the Danish striker, with early talks reportedly going well. This potential move has opened the door for a blockbuster swap deal involving Victor Osimhen, who could head to Manchester as part of the arrangement.

Though Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, he’s expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer, with several top European clubs – including Chelsea – monitoring his situation.

Højlund, meanwhile, has reiterated his commitment to United while on international duty with Denmark, saying: “I’m still very happy to be at Man United.

“It’s the club I’ve always dreamed of representing,” he said, also voicing his support for Amorim, whom he described as “a cool personality,” while showing enthusiasm for the promising project taking shape.
