“Marcus Rashford Sets His Sights on New Club – But One Big Problem Looms”

“Marcus Rashford’s Next Move Decided – But a Major Obstacle Stands in His Way”
Marcus Rashford reportedly prefers a move to Barcelona over any other club, but a significant obstacle could derail his plans.
The Manchester United forward has been the subject of intense transfer speculation after revealing he’s ready for a new challenge. This admission came after being left out of Ruben Amorim’s squad against Manchester City, though he was reinstated against Newcastle United but remained unused in a 2-0 defeat.
With the January transfer window now open, Rashford has been linked with a departure from Old Trafford, with Arsenal emerging as a potential suitor. However, according to Alex Crook, Rashford’s top choice is Barcelona.
A move to the Catalan giants, though, could prove challenging. Barcelona is currently unable to register new players due to La Liga’s wage cap restrictions, leaving summer signing Dani Olmo unregistered after his £51 million transfer from RB Leipzig. If Rashford were to join Barca this month, it’s unlikely he’d be eligible to play this season.
Rashford’s future remains uncertain, as he denied claims on social media that he’s engaged agencies to expedite his transfer. Despite his statement, reports suggest representatives acting on his behalf have been in talks with prominent agencies, including CAA Stellar, to explore a potential exit.
