official: Elche file complaint against Barcelona for Gavi inclusion in La Liga clash
Barcelona are not worried about the situation as Elche is doing everything possible to claim the three points from their league clash over the weekend.
The relegation side has officially filled a complain to the Spanish Federation about the inclusion of Gavi which according to them is a violation of the federation’s rules on players legibility. Elche made a request to the federation to award them the three points. The complaint was filled on Tuesday
The 18 year old wonderkid performance has been great for Barca this season. His performance was enough to earn him the man of the match in the Spanish Super Cup final victory over Real Madrid.
Gavi Name was deleted from La Liga due to La Liga’s salary cap which has previously denied Barca registration of Gavi as a first team player. He will continue with his Barca Atletic contract as a result of a court ruling.
La Liga blocked the registration of the deal due to the club’s recent financial crisis.
