Konaté: “Success Will Come” Despite the uncertainty, Konaté remains optimistic. Speaking in a recent interview, the French centre-back emphasized that this phase is part of a bigger journey. According to him, Liverpool are still adapting — especially with new players settling into the squad. He believes that with time, chemistry will improve and trophies will follow. 🏆 He also pointed to last season’s success as proof that the team has what it takes to bounce back stronger. 🤝 A Call for Unity More than anything, Konaté stressed the importance of togetherness between the team and its supporters. He praised the Anfield faithful and urged everyone to stay united, insisting that better days are ahead if patience is maintained. ❤️ Interestingly, his comments come at a time when his own future at the club remains uncertain, with his contract situation yet to be resolved heading into the summer. 🔍 What Happens Next? Liverpool’s season is now entering a defining period. Results must improve, injuries need to clear, and stability must return — both on and off the pitch. But if Konaté’s words are anything to go by, belief inside the squad is still very much alive. And sometimes… that’s all it takes before everything turns around. 👀🔥

Our captain was seen holding Marc Guehi’s arm in the penalty area, leading the opposing captain to fall to the ground and appeal for a penalty.
Referee Simon Hooper ruled that there was no foul, and VAR official David Coote concurred. The Premier League Match Centre posted on X: “The referee’s decision of no penalty for the challenge by Van Dijk on Guehi has been checked and confirmed by VAR, which concluded that the challenge involved minimal holding and had no impact on the play.”
While the appeals on the pitch weren’t very strong, this incident will likely be used against us for the remainder of the weekend.
