Randal Kolo Muani’s first comments as a Tottenham player after completing loan move: ‘What the manager wants from me.

The British summer transfer window has officially closed, and Tottenham Hotspur have wrapped up a hectic period of business. With six new arrivals secured, Thomas Frank’s men are gearing up to challenge on several fronts this season, including the UEFA Champions League.

Deadline day saw Spurs active once again, finalising a season-long loan deal for Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, having previously missed out on the forward in the winter.

The French striker, who netted eight times in Serie A last season with Juventus, has been handed the number 39 shirt following his move from PSG. Speaking to the club’s media for the first time, Kolo Muani said:

> “I’m very happy and proud to join such a great club. I can’t wait to meet my teammates, the fans, and get on the pitch. I know what the coach expects from me and I’ll fight hard for the shirt, the club, and the supporters. I will give everything for this team.”

While Spurs had been linked with other options such as Ademola Lookman, Kolo Muani ended up being the only significant addition on deadline day. Elsewhere, Manor Solomon is close to a loan move to Crystal Palace, and Bryan Gil has completed a switch to Girona in La Liga.

Manager Thomas Frank welcomed his new signing, saying:
