Pochettino’s response to Chelsea’s defeat will anger fans

I’ve just woken up to see more reactions from Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United last night.

Honestly, if you don’t laugh you’ll cry. But in all seriousness, I just know these comments from Mauricio Pochettino are going to have Chelsea fans fuming, and this will certainly be the point that many of them turn on him.

I am speaking from experience, I’ve seen it all before. The last thing fans want to hear from a manager after literally one of their worst ever performances in the history of the club, is to say that they are not disappointed because the players ‘gave everything’.

Sorry Pochettino, if you truly believe that, then I am afraid with respect, you must be deluded.

Sometimes fans just want to hear hard truths. And the truth is that from top to bottom, Pochettino and his players were absolutely abysmal last night – every single one of them.
