According to Football Insider, Mohamed Salah is seeking a new three-year contract with Liverpool. However, Liverpool remain unconcerned about Salah’s future, confident that he wants to stay at Anfield.

Salah has been instrumental for Arne Slot’s team this season, scoring five Premier League goals, including a key performance in their 2-1 win over Chelsea. The 32-year-old is reportedly aiming to secure a deal that would keep him at Liverpool until 2027.

Despite interest from Saudi clubs looking to bring him to the Middle East, where top players like Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Sadio Mane have moved, Salah’s form under Slot has been outstanding. With seven goals and six assists in 11 games across all competitions, he continues to perform at the highest level.

Liverpool’s impressive start to the season, winning 10 of their first 11 games—a club record—shows the positive impact Slot has had on the team. Meanwhile, former player Jamie Carragher is confident Salah will sign a new contract, as he aims to break records and solidify his legacy as one of the Premier League’s greatest attackers.

Liverpool are also working on extending the contract of another key player, Virgil Van Dijk, with both sides confident of reaching an agreement soon.
