Riccardo Calafiori has praised Mikel Arteta’s impact at Arsenal, describing him as pivotal to the club’s success.
“He is the most important figure here at Arsenal,” Calafiori said after the victory over Wolves. “He has a lot of faith in me, and I’m proud to wear this shirt. There’s still so much I need to learn to keep progressing here.”
Reflecting on the game, he added, “I’m very happy to have helped the team win such a tough match. It was challenging because we were down to 10 men, but we managed to come out on top. I’m really happy for the team.”
Calafiori scored the decisive goal in Saturday’s win against Wolves after being substituted on in the second half to replace Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Konaté: “Success Will Come” Despite the uncertainty, Konaté remains optimistic. Speaking in a recent interview, the French centre-back emphasized that this phase is part of a bigger journey. According to him, Liverpool are still adapting — especially with new players settling into the squad. He believes that with time, chemistry will improve and trophies will follow. 🏆 He also pointed to last season’s success as proof that the team has what it takes to bounce back stronger. 🤝 A Call for Unity More than anything, Konaté stressed the importance of togetherness between the team and its supporters. He praised the Anfield faithful and urged everyone to stay united, insisting that better days are ahead if patience is maintained. ❤️ Interestingly, his comments come at a time when his own future at the club remains uncertain, with his contract situation yet to be resolved heading into the summer. 🔍 What Happens Next? Liverpool’s season is now entering a defining period. Results must improve, injuries need to clear, and stability must return — both on and off the pitch. But if Konaté’s words are anything to go by, belief inside the squad is still very much alive. And sometimes… that’s all it takes before everything turns around. 👀🔥
