New footage has surfaced showing a full-time incident between Fernandes and Garnacho, following the Argentina international’s decision to forgo celebrating his goal. Garnacho, who came off the bench to score United’s third goal at Old Trafford, delivered a brilliant strike into the top corner after receiving a pass on the left. However, rather than celebrating, he appeared subdued, leaving fans to speculate that it was due to recent criticism.

In a longer clip shared by @strettynews on TikTok, Fernandes can be seen speaking with Garnacho before Amad Diallo joins them for an embrace. Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee, and Andre Onana also offered their support to Garnacho, who appeared downcast.
The young forward had recently been criticized by a fan before the Europa League match against PAOK, who told him to “pass better, score a goal, and work on your first touch.” Garnacho responded, “Why are you not playing?” but did not provide any explanation for his lack of celebration after his goal.
Fernandes later revealed that Garnacho’s decision was linked to the negative comments from fans. Speaking to the BBC, he said: “Garnacho scored a brilliant goal but didn’t celebrate because he feels he has lost faith from some fans. I told him people will always complain, but many people like him and appreciate what he does. I urged him to celebrate because it was something special. He’s a special player, and it’s players like him who win us games.”
