“Simply incredible” – Liverpool’s title celebrations leave reporters in awe at Anfield

Liverpool is set to be awash in red as the team takes to the streets to celebrate their Premier League title win with a city-wide parade. Fans around the world will be able to watch the festivities unfold live.

On Sunday, Virgil van Dijk raised the trophy high at Anfield in front of a jubilant home crowd. Now, the team will continue the celebrations with a parade expected to last between three and five hours, drawing in hundreds of thousands of fans eager to see their heroes in person.

The parade begins at 2:30pm BST—corresponding to 9:30am in New York, 6:30am in Los Angeles, 11:30pm in Sydney, 5:30pm in Dubai, and 4:30pm in Nairobi. Reflecting on the journey to this moment, Telegraph journalist Chris Bascombe noted the significance of the achievement:

“For three out of the last six seasons, Liverpool ended their campaigns with a bittersweet lap of appreciation after missing out on the title—twice losing out to Manchester City on the final day.
