Though Ten Hag was backed in the summer despite United’s underwhelming 8th place finish in the Premier League last season, the team has struggled in the new campaign, sitting 13th and winless in their last four matches.
Ratcliffe expressed support for Ten Hag, calling him a “very good coach,” but ultimately deferred responsibility to United’s management team to decide on the club’s direction.
