Sir Jim Ratcliffe addresses speculation about Erik ten Hag’s future, amid rumors that the Manchester United manager could be dismissed.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe comments on the uncertainty surrounding Erik ten Hag’s position, as rumors circulate about the Manchester United manager potentially being sacked.
Erik ten Hag is facing immense pressure ahead of Sunday’s match against Aston Villa. Speculation is growing that the Manchester United manager could be dismissed during the international break. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, whose INEOS group took over football operations at United, has not given any assurances about Ten Hag’s future.
Though Ten Hag was backed in the summer despite United’s underwhelming 8th place finish in the Premier League last season, the team has struggled in the new campaign, sitting 13th and winless in their last four matches.
Ratcliffe expressed support for Ten Hag, calling him a “very good coach,” but ultimately deferred responsibility to United’s management team to decide on the club’s direction. After a disappointing 3-3 draw with Porto in the Europa League, Ten Hag asked for patience, emphasizing that new staff and players need time to adjust.
