The club has announced that the transfer is finalized, with Fabrizio Romano revealing details about Milos Kerkez’s medical examination for Liverpool.

Milos Kerkez arrived in Merseyside on Monday to start the initial phase of his medical tests for his permanent transfer from Bournemouth.
The left-back will join fellow Hungarian international Dominik Szoboszlai after impressing in the Premier League over the past two seasons with Andoni Iraola’s side.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the 21-year-old is undergoing additional medical assessments ahead of the transfer.
Once completed, a contract will be signed, finalizing a £40 million move to Liverpool.
This addition will enhance the quality and depth of the defense, following Jeremie Frimpong’s transfer and goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili’s delayed move last year.
### Nat Phillips Transfers
In other news, the club has officially let go of defender Nat Phillips, who had been seeking a transfer. The 28-year-old joins Jarell Quansah (Bayer Leverkusen) in securing permanent moves away from Liverpool this summer. West Brom confirmed his signing for an undisclosed fee on Monday evening.
### Future Defensive Additions
With Quansah’s departure, the need for reinforcements at center-back has become evident. Marc Guehi has been frequently mentioned, and there’s a genuine interest in the Crystal Palace defender.
With only a year left on his contract, it’s becoming increasingly accepted in London that he may need to be sold at a reduced price. The asking price will be crucial for Richard Hughes and the team, as Liverpool may choose to wait if they find the fee too high.
