Tottenham supporters were overheard directing chants at chairman Daniel Levy during their victory against Manchester City.

Tottenham delivered an impressive display and result at the Etihad Stadium, yet a large portion of the travelling support made their frustration with the club’s leadership clear after the week’s off-field events.

Despite the strong start under Thomas Frank, many Spurs fans headed into the clash with Manchester City feeling frustrated and angry.

The main source of tension came from Arsenal hijacking Tottenham’s move for Eberechi Eze, with supporters believing the transfer could have been sealed if Daniel Levy had acted with greater urgency. Frank has downplayed the setback, insisting he only wants players who genuinely want to join Spurs, but fans have not let the matter go, feeling humiliated by their rivals.

During the opening minute at the Etihad, chants of “we want Levy out” rang from the away section. Those chants resurfaced in the second half, even as Spurs were leading, showing that the anger lingered despite the team’s eventual 2-0 victory over the former champions.

Looking ahead, Frank remains confident Tottenham will strengthen before the transfer window shuts, but supporters remain skeptical. Many fear a repeat of past windows where late scrambling led to missed opportunities.

To repair the damage with fans, Levy and the board will need to bring in at least two signings, especially after the Eze saga. With Savinho recently linked, supporters are now demanding that the hierarchy step up and deliver.
