“Turki Alalshikh’s Cryptic Post Sends Liverpool Fans Into a Mo Salah Transfer Frenzy”

“Turki Alalshikh Sparks Frenzy Among Liverpool Fans with Cryptic Mo Salah Transfer Post”
The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, caused a stir among Liverpool fans with a surprising social media post on Wednesday morning involving Mohamed Salah.
Salah, 32, has been in stellar form this season, recording 21 goals and 17 assists in 29 appearances. His contributions have propelled Liverpool to the top of both the Premier League and their Champions League group.
However, uncertainty surrounds Salah’s future at Anfield, with his current contract set to expire in June 2025. The Egyptian has been candid about his situation, revealing in November that he felt “more out than in” and has expressed frustration over the lack of talks regarding a new deal.
Speaking in September, Salah stated, “It’s the last six months. There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. We just need to wait and see.”
As speculation grows, Turki Alalshikh added fuel to the fire by posting an image of Salah wearing an Al Hilal jersey. Fans flooded social media with reactions, ranging from excitement to despair.
One fan wrote, “Don’t give me hope,” while another joked, “That’s why he ghosted last night.” A third noted, “Imagine earning £22m a week,” while a fourth simply called it “Sad news.”
In the summer of 2023, Liverpool rejected a £150m bid from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, but Salah’s expiring contract means such a massive fee won’t be necessary in future negotiations. Now that the January transfer window is open, Salah is eligible to discuss a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.
Should he join Al Hilal, Salah would team up with stars like Neymar, Ruben Neves, Joao Cancelo, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Kalidou Koulibaly, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.
