Victor Osimhen has made a decision regarding a potential transfer to Arsenal after a £63 million deal was reportedly agreed. This development comes amid twists in the pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres, suggesting a shift in Arsenal’s transfer strategy.

Victor Osimhen has reportedly decided to reject a lucrative move to Al-Hilal, influenced by interest from Arsenal and Manchester United. The 26-year-old forward was a key target for Al-Hilal, with a £63 million agreement reached with Napoli ahead of the Club World Cup. The Saudi side hoped to finalize the deal before June 10 to allow Osimhen to participate in their group matches.

However, reports from Nigeria indicate that Osimhen turned down a fifth proposal from Al-Hilal, preferring to stay in Europe, especially with a “top Italian club” interested in him. According to Tuttosport, he is aware of the interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, both of whom are seeking a new center forward.

In addition to the Premier League giants, Juventus is keen on signing Osimhen, while Galatasaray aims to retain him after his impressive loan spell, where he scored 37 goals in 41 matches.

Meanwhile, Viktor Gyokeres is also a top target for Arsenal, Manchester United, and Juventus. Gyokeres, who netted 54 goals in 52 games for Sporting, is described as a “dream signing” for Juventus and could be available for around £60 million.

As Osimhen approaches his 27th birthday in December, he plans to take his time in choosing the right club for his career. Napoli is eager to sell him, as he is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans, despite a successful record of 76 goals in 113 games for the club.

Arsenal is actively looking for a new No. 9 to strengthen their challenge for the Premier League title, with Osimhen, along with Benjamin Sesko and Gyokeres, high on their shortlist. Reflecting on his future earlier this year, Osimhen stated, “I live in the moment and I don’t know what will happen in the summer,” expressing gratitude for his time at Galatasaray and the support from fans.
