Florian Wirtz registered his first assist for Liverpool in the Champions League during their 5–1 triumph over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German midfielder set up Cody Gakpo’s second-half goal, calmly squaring the ball for the Dutchman to finish from close range. Despite the significance of the moment, Wirtz remained composed, choosing to continue play without much celebration.

His teammates, however, made sure to mark the occasion. Andy Robertson and Federico Chiesa were the first to congratulate him, followed by several others who embraced him with visible joy. The Liverpool squad’s collective reaction reflected genuine happiness at seeing Wirtz finally open his assist account for the club.
