Arne Slot ready to offload player who was recently named Liverpool’s Player of the Month

Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa could be on his way out of Anfield in the coming months.

According to Fichajes, manager Arne Slot doesn’t see the Italian as a key part of his plans and is open to selling him either in January or next summer. However, other reports suggest Liverpool might still decide to keep hold of him for now.

Liverpool shouldn’t let Chiesa go in January

The Reds are short of depth on the wings, so offloading Chiesa mid-season would be risky. Keeping him until the summer transfer window would give the club more time to find a proper replacement.

Although the 27-year-old struggled with injuries last season, he’s now fit and has impressed in his substitute appearances this campaign. Fans rate him highly—he was even voted Liverpool’s Player of the Month for September.

It’s unclear why Slot hasn’t fully trusted the former Juventus star yet, as Chiesa has shown his quality in various attacking roles and could become a key figure if given more chances.

If Liverpool do decide to sell, they’ll need to replace him wisely—especially since Luis Díaz hasn’t been adequately replaced and Mohamed Salah is entering the later years of his career.

Given his talent and proven ability in the Premier League, Chiesa is expected to attract significant interest from several top clubs if he becomes available.
