Arne Slot delivers worrying injury news for Liverpool before Brentford showdown

Slot was direct about the situation, saying:
“Jeremie isn’t in a good place… it’s a hamstring injury, so it’ll take some time,” he admitted, confirming that the defender will miss both the Brentford match and next week’s games, according to Ben Jacobs.

As for Isak and Gravenberch, who have each had fitness issues this season, Slot added:
“Alex, not too bad. He’s a question mark for the weekend… and it’s the same with Ryan.”

Both players are still being monitored, with their availability to be determined after final training sessions.

Isak was withdrawn at halftime during the Champions League tie against Eintracht Frankfurt, continuing his difficult start at the Merseyside club following his record-breaking summer transfer.

“Alisson is not in the squad tomorrow. That’s going to take a bit longer as well,” Slot confirmed.
