Football never truly stops. At any moment of the day — across all 86,400 seconds — someone somewhere is engaged with the beautiful game. Whether it’s a dramatic last-minute goal, a pundit sharing their hot take online, or friends casually kicking a ball around, the sport is constantly alive.

Keeping up with every twist and turn is impossible for any one person. Yet, it’s often the small, fascinating moments — a fan’s unique angle on a penalty save, a brief but revealing exchange between fierce rivals, or a viral thread praising N’Golo Kanté’s kindness — that make football so special.

To capture all those gems, GIVEMESPORT has launched a live blog, curating the best of social media and the most engaging football snippets from the past 24 hours.

Liverpool suffered their fourth straight Premier League defeat on Saturday, losing 3–2 to Brentford.

Just last week, following a loss to Manchester United, Arne Slot suggested that opponents were altering their lineups specifically for games against Liverpool. He said:

> “We’ve seen [Benjamin] Šeško play the last three, four, five or six times, but when they face Liverpool, they change the lineup. That’s not the first time we’ve seen that happen.”

Brentford, however, made no such changes — manager Mark Andrews fielded the same XI that beat West Ham on Monday. Despite that, Liverpool still came up short.

After the victory, Brentford’s official X account cheekily responded to Slot’s earlier comments, posting:

> “Must have been that unchanged team.”
