Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has reportedly agreed to a sensational return to his former club, Everton, although the move depends on two key factors.

The Brazilian has endured a difficult spell at Spurs, struggling with injuries and inconsistency since joining from Everton. Despite starting this season as Tottenham’s first-choice striker and managing three goals and two assists in nine Premier League games, speculation over his future continues.

Reports earlier this week suggested that Tottenham are prepared to accept offers for Richarlison in January as they look to bring in a new No.9. According to TEAMtalk, Richarlison has already said “yes” to Everton ahead of the upcoming transfer window, but the deal will only proceed once two major conditions are met.

Firstly, it depends on the type of deal Tottenham are willing to consider. Secondly, Spurs are expected to sanction the transfer only if they manage to sign a new striker of their own in January.

Football Insider also reports that Richarlison has “opened the door” to a possible Goodison Park return. Former Premier League chief scout Mick Brown, who remains well connected in the game, revealed that the Brazilian is still highly regarded at Everton.

“I’m told Richarlison is still very highly thought of at Everton,” Brown told Football Insider. “He’s not always been a guaranteed starter at Tottenham, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t strengthen Everton’s attack. They’re looking for a new striker, and he’s one of several options being considered.”

Brown added that if Richarlison continues to face limited playing time under Thomas Frank, he could question his role in the squad. Regular football at Everton could therefore tempt him into a return, with the outcome ultimately depending on Tottenham’s valuation and whether both clubs can reach an agreement in January.
