Yes, Slot urgently needs to turn results around, but the idea he could be fired by Christmas is extreme. After all, he guided Liverpool to the Premier League title just six months ago, defying skeptics who expected him to falter after Jürgen Klopp’s departure.
Football’s reactionary culture means fortunes can change quickly; a few positive results in the coming weeks could flip the narrative entirely. For now, while frustration is understandable, calling for Slot’s dismissal feels wildly premature.
