Liverpool are reportedly preparing to make an offer for Bournemouth’s in-form attacker, Antoine Semenyo.

After a busy summer that saw the arrivals of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Hugo Ekitike, the Reds are seemingly not finished strengthening their squad. According to journalist Indy Kaila, Liverpool plan to continue targeting major signings across the next two transfer windows, with Semenyo high on their list.

Kaila shared on X that the Ghanaian forward is among Liverpool’s key targets, following his impressive Premier League performances that have drawn attention from several top clubs. It remains unclear whether the bid will come in January or next summer, but the 25-year-old is reportedly central to Liverpool’s future plans.

Semenyo’s potential move could be particularly significant given Mohamed Salah’s recent decline in form. Once unstoppable, the Egyptian star has struggled to make an impact this season, managing just three goals and two assists in nine league games — compared to Semenyo’s six goals and three assists in the same number of appearances.

Semenyo’s sharp form suggests he could not only succeed Salah in the long term but also provide an immediate boost to Liverpool’s attack. With the team suffering six defeats in their last seven matches across all competitions, a signing like Semenyo might be exactly what Arne Slot’s side needs to reignite their offensive threat.
