Thomas Frank on Chelsea: “It’s going to be a special one — I’m really looking forward to it.”

Thomas Frank has called on his players to make their home ground a fortress as they continue their push for success this season. Reflecting on his team’s recent performances, the Tottenham boss stressed the importance of balance between home and away results if the club is to reach its full potential.

“It’s clear to me that if you want to achieve something big in football, you need to have both a good home form and a good away form,” Frank explained. “Our away form has been very impressive so far, showing the strength, discipline, and mentality we’ve developed as a group. However, to truly compete at the highest level, you also need to make your home ground a place where opponents find it difficult to get anything from you.”

The Dane admitted that his team’s home record hasn’t yet reached the same standard as their performances on the road, but he believes that will change with time and focus. “Right now, three home games in the Premier League is a very small sample to judge anything by,” he said. “It’s still early in the season, and what really matters is how we build consistency and confidence in front of our own fans. I’m quite convinced that by the end of the season, we’ll look back and see that our home form has become a real strength for us.”

Frank went on to emphasize that improvement starts with belief and determination, especially heading into their next fixture. “It’s up to us to make that shift happen,” he continued. “We have a fantastic group of players who are hungry to perform, and we’ve shown already that we can match anyone when we play with energy and intensity. I’m convinced we’ll have a very good chance to show that again tomorrow. We know how important it is to give our supporters something to be proud of — to make them feel that every time they come here, they’re watching a team that fights for everything and refuses to give anything away easily.”

Confident and optimistic, Frank concluded by reaffirming his belief that momentum at home will come naturally as the team continues to grow together. “We’ve built a strong foundation away from home, and now it’s about bringing that same edge, aggression, and confidence into our home performances. When we do that, I’ve no doubt this place will become the kind of fortress that every team fears visiting.”
