“Get out of my club” – Furious Tottenham fans erupt after what the Spurs “idiot” did against Copenhagen

Tottenham fans have run out of patience with one of their key players following a frustrating night against Copenhagen.
Brennan Johnson, who had already been criticized after Spurs’ Carabao Cup exit to Newcastle United, seemed to redeem himself when he opened the scoring on Tuesday, November 4. Wilson Odobert quickly added a second after halftime, but Brentford turned the game around spectacularly with goals from Micky van de Ven and Joao Palhinha, sealing a 4–0 win.
Things went from bad to worse for Tottenham when Johnson was sent off in the 57th minute after a VAR review showed him lunging into Marcos Lopez’s back. Although some fans sympathized with him — especially since the red card looked harsh — others were furious, calling him “an idiot” and even suggesting he should leave the club.
Johnson, who is known for picking up late-game cautions, left supporters fuming over his reckless challenge. Fortunately for Spurs, his dismissal didn’t derail the team’s momentum completely.
According to Opta, Johnson made unwanted history by becoming the first British player to score and be sent off in the same Champions League match. It capped off a mixed evening — one that started brightly but ended in frustration.
It’s been an up-and-down season for the Welsh forward, and while his goal should have boosted his confidence, the red card has once again overshadowed his progress.
