Liverpool may consider targeting a coach described as having “a unique presence” to succeed Arne Slot.
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing Club Brugge boss Nicky Hayen as a possible successor to Arne Slot, according to SPORT.
Despite sitting third in the Premier League, Slot is under pressure after a poor run of form which has seen Liverpool lose six of their last eight matches in all competitions. Performances have dipped, and the Dutchman has struggled to get the best out of a squad heavily backed in the summer transfer market.
Could Liverpool part ways with Slot?

Hayen, 45, is highly regarded across Europe and is seen as a promising young coach, but he lacks experience at the elite level. For a club of Liverpool’s stature, a more proven manager with a track record of winning major trophies would normally be expected.

While Hayen has been praised as a coach with “a special aura,” the Liverpool job may still be a step up too soon. Haverfordwest chairman Rob Edwards has suggested he could land a top job within the next two years, hinting at his growing reputation.
Slot, meanwhile, still holds plenty of credit after leading Liverpool to the league title last season. That achievement means the club are unlikely to rush into a decision, and he is expected to be given time to turn things around.
