Liverpool fans are all saying the same thing after new training photos surface

Liverpool have released new training photos from the AXA Centre ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester City — and there’s one image that will delight every fan.
Alexander Isak was pictured back in full training and smiling again after three weeks out injured. The pictures, shared on Liverpoolfc.com, showed the Swedish forward both in the gym and on the grass, looking sharp and clearly thrilled to rejoin his teammates — a welcome boost for supporters.
The club’s record signing has had a stop-start start to life at Anfield, making eight appearances so far, with one goal (against Southampton in the Carabao Cup) and one assist (against Chelsea in the league).
His return couldn’t have come at a better time as Liverpool aim to extend their winning run to three games in all competitions.
Isak’s joy was obvious throughout the session, with the 26-year-old all smiles as he trained. It’s the kind of energy and lift the team needs before a huge trip to the Etihad.
Arne Slot had already confirmed in his press conference that Isak would rejoin full training, saying:
> “He will train for the first time today with the team again after being three weeks out… give him some time.”
Even if he’s not yet at peak sharpness, having the new No.9 back available is a major boost. His presence alone can change the mood — and make opponents sit up and take notice.
Though pundits like Ian Wright have said Isak “has to do well because Ekitike is doing it,” others, including Roy Keane, remain confident: “I still think he’ll come good for them.”
Now, seeing him back training and smiling again, it feels like that moment is near. Sometimes football isn’t about stats or tactics — just the simple joy of watching a confident striker back in red, ready to make an impact.
