Jarrod Bowen’s position on a potential move to Tottenham has been revealed following reports of a possible West Ham departure.
Jarrod Bowen has attracted serious interest from both Tottenham and Liverpool, but the West Ham star remains fully committed to his current club.
Having repeatedly rescued the Hammers with his performances, it’s no surprise the London outfit are determined to hold on to their key man.
According to sources cited by Football Insider, Liverpool have identified Bowen as a possible long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, though any deal appears unlikely at this stage. Still, the lure of Champions League football could tempt Bowen in the future — something West Ham cannot currently offer.
As revealed on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, West Ham intend to reject all offers from Premier League rivals, including Tottenham. The club will only consider selling if an extraordinary bid arrives, but no such offer has been made so far.
While Spurs recently brought in Bowen’s former teammate Mohammed Kudus, it seems improbable that the England international will make the same move to north London.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, it was explained:
> “He’s probably the only truly untouchable player in that squad right now. Most others could be sold for the right price, but Bowen is the heartbeat of West Ham. The team is being built around him, and with his contract running until 2030, there’s no real pressure to sell.”
Nevertheless, interest from top clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham is inevitable, given Bowen’s consistent goalscoring record and proven Premier League pedigree.
Meanwhile, West Ham are also working to fend off Championship clubs targeting promising midfielder Mohamadou Kante.
Sources told Football Insider that several second-tier sides are keen on the 20-year-old, who joined from Paris FC in August 2024. Kante has impressed with four goals and three assists in 13 games for the U21s, and is viewed internally as a future first-team star.
Manager Nuno Espirito Santo remains intent on keeping both his senior core and emerging young talents as part of the club’s long-term project.
