Exclusive: Tottenham set for £75m boost after agreeing new sponsorship deal
Tottenham Hotspur could pocket up to £75 million from their new sponsorship deal with AIA Group, sources have told Football Insider.
AIA has been Tottenham’s main shirt sponsor since 2013, with the Hong Kong-based insurance company’s logo appearing on the front of the club’s kits for over a decade. On 4 November, Spurs confirmed that the partnership will not continue beyond the 2026-27 season. Instead, AIA will become the club’s training kit sponsor from 2027 onward.
The current deal with AIA is worth around £40 million per year, ranking among the most lucrative sponsorship agreements in the Premier League. Spurs extended their contract with AIA in 2019 for another eight years, valued at £320 million overall. Under the new arrangement, AIA’s logo will feature on Tottenham’s training gear from 2027 to 2032, potentially bringing in around £75 million across five years.
Tottenham’s present training kit sponsor, BetMGM, signed a three-year contract in 2024 worth roughly £10 million annually, which runs until the end of the 2026-27 season. The club’s management, led by Thomas Frank, are already exploring options for a new front-of-shirt sponsor to succeed AIA.
As reported by Football Insider on 7 November, Tottenham are aiming for a £60 million main shirt sponsorship deal, though matching that valuation could prove challenging — especially since Chelsea have yet to secure a front-of-shirt sponsor this season after setting the same price target.
Since moving to their 62,850-seat stadium in 2019, Spurs have been proactive in boosting commercial revenue. Their 2023-24 financial report showed a rise in commercial income from £228 million to £255 million, helping total turnover reach £528 million — the fifth-highest in the Premier League.
Additionally, Tottenham continue to explore a potential stadium naming rights deal with interested partners to further increase revenue.
